Ozzie Havanese Greensboro, NC

Ozzie is a 6-year-old male Havanese who came to Hart-2-Heart Rescue due to his owner’s health issues. He has a gentle, affectionate personality. Ozzie enjoys companionship and follows his foster mom wherever she goes, he also enjoys snuggling in bed with his foster parents. He doesn’t like being left alone., and would be best with someone who is home a lot. Ozzie loves his toys and plays hard with them, he's an agile jumper who can obtain great heights so he needs to have a teacher to learn his limits. Ozzie gets along well with other dogs and he loves to play and go for walks. The Havanese breed love activity, so he will need someone to go out and help him get his energy out and then want to hang in his humans lap. Ozzie is housebroken, crate and leash trained.

Ozzie has non seasonal allergies and has been evaluated by a Veterinary Dermatologist. The Dermatologist has identified his allergens and recommended an oral serum which will help Ozzie be less sensitive to his allergens. This is the preferred treatment rather than simply treating the symptoms and will involve commitment and expense.

Ozzie's adoption fee is $350

All Hart-2-Heart Rescue Foster Dogs are spayed/neutered, current on Parvo/Distemper, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, heartworm tested, on heartworm prevention and professionally groomed. Additionally, if needed, our foster dogs have had teeth cleanings and any necessary tooth extractions.

An all adult home with a fenced yard is required to adopt from Hart-2-Heart Rescue. For more information please contact h2hadoptions@gmail.com. There is an application process and an adoption fee.
