Biscotti is not ready yet - we are still working with him to be comfortable around new people.

STCGNY Rescue welcomes it's newest rescue Scottie Biscotti! Biscotti is in rough condition, coming in as a stray in this horrible northeast winter. He was so matted, he needed to be fully shaved, so he's looking a little more like a black anteater right now. He's an older guy, but we have no other history. Wish he could talk and tell us what he's been through. He's doing well in foster, gets along well with the other dogs and is well mannered.He had the highest grade dental and gum issues when he came into the shelter we got him from, but they were kind enough to do an immediate dental, so he's recovering from that now. Hopefully he will forget the pain that makes him headshy. We have a lot of vetting to do to figure out what his health status is, and hopefully we'll have good news and then he'll be ready to go to his forever home. Obviously with someone looking to open their home and heart to an older guy who has been through some sad times. We're happy to give him whatever he was lacking and hope he can have great times ahead!!!
