Meet Rio
Pretty little Rio is learning to relax and enjoy attention. This charmingly reserved young lady has a short, copper-colored coat with snow white highlights on her perfect face and paws. Rio has an adorable, fluffy tail like a tiny fox. She’s a Cairn Terrier mix and the result is lovely. Rio is likely house trained. She walks very nicely on a leash. She weighs less than 10 lbs. and gains confidence with you leading the way. She’s alert to her surroundings and very, very motivated by treats. She’d do best in a quiet home with a nurturing, consistently affectionate environment with older children or adults only. Rio is learning to trust and is making progress with the staff and volunteers reassurance. Her progress would accelerate with someone devoted to patiently giving her the comfort and joy of being loved.
