Meet Toby

Scotti is approximately 2 years old and full grown at 11 lbs. He is a super friendly, active young man who is looking for his perfect home. He loves to chew on bones and toys as well as run. He will need your help with his housetraining. He comes when called, walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car, and enjoys being groomed. What more could you want? Are you his furever family?

The adoption fee of $300 includes the spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, distemper/parvo combination vaccine, bordetella vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning if necessary, and a microchip.

Please contact jz2jaz@gmail.com for more information or to set up an appointment. Include in your email what you are looking for in a canine companion along with a little about your family and how you plan to train and exercise your new pup. Please do NOT call our center. This will help us match you and the animal the best we can.

Often there is very little known about our dogs' and puppies' history or even current habits. We are best guessing on breed blends. We can't guarantee there is or isn't a specific breed in their breed blend.

You can always expect to do training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. Expect a 10+ year financial, physical, and emotional commitment to this canine. We provide a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this.

Most dogs who are in shelters will need an adjustment period after adoption. No matter how nice our shelter is and how much attention they get from our volunteers, it is not a home and they will need time to acclimate and get rid of some nervous energy.

Dogs are a lot of work and a long financial commitment. Please research what it means to have a dog and make sure a dog is still going to be an important part of your life in 10-15 years. This pup will need a lot of patience and guidance just like most dogs.
