Blessing Siberian Husky & Husky Mix League City, TX

Blessing is small for a husky, but makes up for it with her brave heart. She was rescued from a shelter with a severe tail injury and in urgent need of medical care. A portion of her tail was amputated and is now a cute bob. AND THEN she tested positive for heart worms and has not completed her treatment. She has been through a lot and is ready to find a home where she can finally be a cherished member of the family. She is indeed a blessing.

Blessing is 2 - 3 years old and weighs only 35 lbs. She is a sweet, sweet girl. She responds to love and attention like other dogs respond to treats. She is well-behaved, completely housebroken and often just goes to her crate for a nap. Blessing likes being part of the dog pack in her foster home, She is good with the cats, too. She especially likes cat toys! Like all huskies, she LOVES to run and will need a secure yard and lots of exercise (no apartments or town homes please). She is a stay at home girl and has the most fun running in her yard vs. walks in neighborhood or dog parks. Blessing will do best in a home with older children.

Adopter for Blessing must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit will be required prior to this dog going to any home.

Adoption fee for Blessing is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
