Meet Gypsy

Gypsy is a WONDERFUL dog! How is this for a good testimonial... Gypsy's foster mom has 4 dogs and has fostered over 50 (I know, she is pretty amazing!) and she has said that Gypsy is the easiest foster she has ever had!! Gypsy is beautiful with a soft coat that is perfect for cuddling up to on a cold winter night! She is playful but easily calms down to relax and cuddle. She is big but not a giant. She loves other dogs and and played very well with all the dogs she has met. She had FHO surgery and has healed very well. We believe that is at least partly due to the natural therapy she gets running and playing with her canine foster siblings. Because she loves playing with other dogs and also because playing with them is great therapy for her leg, Gypsy must go to a home with a fenced yard and another dog who wants a playful, friendly sister. She has met kids and was gentle and well behaved with them, too. She is quite a prize and she is ready to make a family think they just won the doggy adoption lottery.

The process to adopt starts with the potential adopter filling out the application form at our website http://www.safenowrescue.com . Your application will be reviewed and someone should email or call within a day or two to let you know your application has been received and it is being reviewed (or forwarded if the pet is in a foster home). If you do not hear back within 2 days please call in case there was a problem. It is possible the dog you’ve applied for has an application before you or an adoption pending; we will let you know if that is the case. Once your application is approved you should hear back from someone within a couple of days. If all goes well and the dog or puppy is still available and it appears it will be a good fit for your home and family, you would then make an appointment for yourself and your family members to meet the dog. most often a home visit will be required. From application to adoption it could take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks (depending on schedules and if the dog/puppy still needs to have medical work done).

The adoption fee is $325.00 and includes deworming, vaccinations, microchip and being spayed..

**Please note we are NOT positive of breeds. The dogs usually come from shelters and often little is known about their background so we make a best guess on the breed when we advertise for adoption.
