Meet Delilah
Meet Delilah! Delilah is a darling female Akita who comes to us with her brother Sampson after their mom died suddenly. A good-hearted neighbor had taken the dogs in to her yard as she did not want to see them both go to animal control. The neighbor ended up falling on hard times and could no longer care for the dogs. They became infested with fleas and lost weight. She ended up reaching out for help and that is where rescue stepped in. Both of these Akitas were once loved indoor family pets. Both have since been fully vetted and brought back to a adoptable state thanks to the help of Kelli Heatherman.
