IBenji ideal home- Benji would do best with a best every 4-6 hours during the day to avoid accidents. Because of his neglectful past, CHR is asking for an all adult household with no frequent visits from young children. Hello everyone!

Benji is looking for a new home with a family who has past experience with Asian breed dogs.
Benji likes walks and does fine on car rides. He's a mellow little dude.
His worst quirk is grooming—he hates it! That's ok because CHR has a plan in place for all of our dogs who dislike being groomed. Our groomer in Fallschurch will groom Benji for a discount.
Keep this in mind if you live far from the Falls Church area because we are going to require that he be taken in for grooming regularly as most Shih Tzus require. Another thing to keep in mind is Benji has luxating patellas and is on joint medications. Many of our dogs are on supplements and joint meds, so this is nothing unusual with this particular breed.

Benji is one of those types of dogs that you look at smile because they always have such an endearing expression on their faces. He's a little goof that walks up to you wagging his tail looking for pets. When I go to visit him, I am overjoyed to just sit on the floor, laughing and giving him cuddles and pets because he makes my heart smile being around him.
