Meet Sarge
Meet Sarge!
Sarge was surrendered to ADORE by someone who kept him chained in the middle of the front yard with a dog igloo (that had nails protruding from the inside) and no shade. His water dish was algae infested and weeks old. Because of the conditions he was kept in, Sarge was heartworm positive, but has recently completed treatment!
Sarge is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 61 lbs. Sarge is shy with meeting new people, a slow introduction is the best for him. We do not think he would be the best fit for a first time dog owner. He is such a handsome and happy boy now that he knows what air conditioning is and he gets plenty of love and attention. Sarge did well on his dog test, and did not react to the cats in the room.
Sarge is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has completed heartworm treatment.
