Meet ERK
ERKs Story...
Meet Erk! owners said he was 10, but we believe him to be 6-9 years old, acts like 6, according to his teeth and eyes and our vet. hes a big guy, weighs about 73 pounds. He is a very smart boy and knows his basic commands to sit and stay. He is already neutered, microchipped and up to date with shots. cats, not sure, depends on the cat, fosters cat didnt like him. he is crate trained, and very loving. if you want him to do anything, he will respond to a treat. hes a great dog. adoption fee donation for erk.
UPDATE Erk has been diagnosed positive for lymes, and being treated. Erk has been in pain from arthritis, and is on paid meds. we are monitoring him because of an episode with an irregular heartbeat. we do not know his prognosis. we may possibly offer him to someone who would keep him In hospice, and I will pay for his vetting. he needs a loving home for however long he has left. please let me know if you would love this sweet baby. I dont think Kerk should live with children. maybe older, calm kids. Adults only and no dogs. he does not like to share his food and toys. I think he is old and set in his ways, doesnt want to be aggravated. So, im not sure a high energy food aggressive dog would be best here. his perfect home, a calm, quiet home with adults, and the only pet where he can get all the attention.
