Oreo Domestic Short Hair Belmont, MA

Oreo is a lovely six month old black and white tuxedo cat with handsome white whiskers. He has been working on coming out of his shell, but is still quite timid. Although he is shy, he loves chasing feather toys and often can be coaxed to play. He is especially receptive to being pet while being fed. He has been making progress in his foster home and often finds places to curl up and keep watch nearby, wherever the action is. He needs someone who is going to be patient and understanding as he works to build a bond with a forever family.

Oreo has tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV). FeLV attacks the immune system and will result in a much shorter lifespan. The virus is very contagious to other cats, but not to people or dogs. Oreo would love to be adopted with his affectionate sister, Midnight, who is also FeLV positive, or he could be an only cat or live with other FeLV cats. If you have room in your home and your heart for a special sweetheart (or two!), Oreo would love to meet you.

Oreo is being fostered in Belmont. Due to his special needs, Oreo's adoption fee will be waived.
