Meet Boone
As of 10/12 Boone will be at our Adoption Center. Please submit an application and then come by during open hours to meet him.
Boone is a complete cuddle bug. Whenever possible, as in EVERY time you sit or lie down, Boone takes the opportunity to smother you with kisses and curl up either in your lap or right next to you. He is house trained but still needs attention and regular trips outside to ensure there are no accidents. He knows “sit” with an accompanying hand signal. He sits at attention very well when you set his food down and knows to wait until it is on the floor before diving in. He is crate trained but loves his freedom. He does very well on walks but has recently been a little reactive towards other dogs so his leash skills may need a bit of work/management. He has tons of energy and loves to run. He loves his toys too!
Boone is heartworm positive and has just begun treatment. He can be adopted at any time and we'll continue to cover the cost for the duration of his treatment at our partner vet's office in Lakeview. He is now neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Boone's adoption fee is $300 and if interested you can access our application here: http://www.onetail.org/adoption/apply/
