Aspen Shepherd Mix Manhattan, KS

Aspen is a year and half year old Shepherd mix with some big ole ears, the better to hear you with ;) . She cannot get enough of your attention and loves to follow you around. She jumps when she is excited so she may be too clumsy for little children but she sure does love all kids. She knows the basic commands such as sit and lay down but can also shake and give high fives. She can be energetic, loves walks and being outdoors but she can calm down and lay in her bed when her foster parents are relaxing. Aspen was toy aggressive with dogs in the beginning but has started to learn to share with her foster brothers. She is still food aggressive towards other dogs but not her foster parents. She is on the skinny side so they are working on getting her to gain some weight. She loves to play tug of war and carry around her favorite plush toy. Aspen does well with other dogs but may take some time to warm up. She is crate trained, house trained, fully vetted and spayed. She gets excited in public settings when she meets new dogs and will be very vocal but other than those instances she is relaxed and hardly barks at home. Aspen would do well with a couple or a single individual, she is not biased she just wants to be loved.
