Meet Sunday
Sunday is 4-6 year old shih tzu mix whose past is unknown, and sadly we can only guess that it wasn't good. This girl came to Maggie’s via SCAC where her future wasn't bright. She was terrified and charged people who approached her. For six days she would only come out of her crate to grab food and retreat back into it. After three months in a foster home we are looking for a hero to adopt her.
She does great with other dogs but cannot go to a home with children. She is very headshy and will nip if pushed. She also is food aggressive. She is pee-pad trained. Sunday needs a quiet home with an experienced person who knows fearful, nippy dogs. The process of folding her into the home will be long but she's worth it! She deserves her first chance at being a dog as it appears she never had that. Be a hero for Sunday!
