Harvey babies! Hummer and his sisters Lark and Sparrow were tiny 4 week old strays who were sick and starving when they were plucked from the scary flood waters after Hurricane Harvey. They were brought to a small shelter that was already overflowing with hundreds of animals displaced by the storm - thankfully two of our volunteers were there helping out when the kittens came in and were able to spring them from the shelter and whisk them off to be treated by a vet. These sweet kittens have made an amazing transformation thanks to the dedication of their loving foster mom! They are healthy now and are very social, playful babies who enjoy attention and kisses and love to entertain. These "happy little birds" are very grateful for their second chance and look forward to charming their way into forever homes!

Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Petco Clear Lake store located at 2410 Bay Area Boulevard (at Space Center.) The adoption fee starts at $95. All cats are tested for FIV and Leukemia, fully vaccinated, fixed, dewormed, defleaed, and microchipped.
