Meet Irving
IRIVING IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR FOSTER
Foster dad Michael had a great weekend with Irving. Michael says Irving is a smart, wonderful dog with a happy disposition. His youth and energy matched with his desire to please makes for a well-balanced dog that is pretty easy to care for.
Irving is an incredibly smart dog who knows all of his basic commands and is eager to learn more. He is a big fan of toys, games and puzzles and loves to keep his brain active! Irving is great on leash when alone and focuses really well on the walker with "look at me" and "sit". Irving still needs continued training on leash reactivity when encountering other dogs. This is a work in progress but with lots of work from Dog Trainer Lou of Good CitiZen, there has been so much improvement. Irving is still young and enthusiastic and very trainable.
Irving loves to play fetch, play with the hose and go on car rides. This beautiful boy is also very treat motivated (hence making training much easier) and he loves chew toys. Thank you, Michael for having him!
BBBR volunteer Brittany, Who originally assessed him at West Valley, says that Irving is quite the love bug. Irving was brought to WVHS as a puppy and BBBR took him in when no adopters showed up. Currently residing at Good Citizen, Brittany reports how much he loves to play and how well he entertains himself. Irving loves to play with other dogs and is over all a well-adjusted pup. If you are looking for a doggo that is ready for lots of love and has plenty of energy, please check him out! This guy has TONS of potential!!
