Claude ADOPTED Terrier Mix Naperville, IL

Hi, my name is Claude. My rescue thinks I was born around 3/15/17 and I'm a little guy around 12 pounds as of 10-3-2017. I'll be a small dog as an adult and won't get beyond 25 pounds based on my current age and weight. By the way, I love to snuggle and give kisses. I have a beautiful brindle coat and my fosters says I'm so much more handsome in person. I follow my foster mom around because I love being with people. I'm a little submissive and can be afraid of loud noises so a home with children 9+ would be best. My foster home currently has a 9 year who I adore and I'm great with. I'm a pretty high energy dog, which isn't unusual for my age. Once I get my exercise, I just love sitting on the couch and snuggling. I'm good in a crate, but given my age and energy, I don't want to be crated all day while your at work. That would not be good for me because I love people and need to burn off my energy and not have it build up sitting in a crate all day after a long nights sleep. I'm in a foster home with other small dogs who I just love and get along with. I've met other dogs outside my foster home and will bark at them letting them know I'm a little shy and to give me time to warm up to you. I've never met a cat so I don't now how I would do with them. I'm potty trained now, but my new family will still need to show me the ropes in my new home.

I came from a very high intake shelter in Kentucky. My rescue doesn't know much about my past though. I'm being fostered in a home in South Aurora with my brother Sparky. Given monthly flea prevention while in our care

DHPP Vaccination and a DHPP Booster
Rabies Vaccination
Fecal tested negative
Given 5 days of Panacur and repeated 2 weeks later
Leash and collar
Free vet exam with one of our participating vets
