Lacey Terrier & Poodle Mix Belton, MO

Lacey was found laying in the middle of a street dirty, matted, and full of fleas.  When a volunteer stopped to check on her, the owner came out and asked the volunteer if she would take her.  Of course we  couldn't leave her behind, so we brought her into the rescue to find her a loving home.   After spending some time with Lacey we have noticed that she has a hard time trusting people at first.  I can't say that I blame her after living on the streets most of her young life.  Lacey is a sweet cuddle bug once she realizes she's safe.  Whoever adopts her will need to be  patient with Lacey at first, but it will all be worth it.  Lacey loves to sit on your lap and cuddle in bed at night.  She desperately wants to be a part of a real family that loves her.  Lacey is 5 years old,  weighs about 17 pounds, is house-trained, kennel trained, up to date and vaccs, spayed, microchipped, dog and cat friendly.  Her adoption fee is 175.00.  Please email us at angelsleftbehind@yahoo.com or message us on our Angels Left Behind FB page if you have any other questions about Lacey or would like an adoption application.
