READ MORE ABOUT SANDY

Sandy is a beautiful 7 year old, Goldendoodle girl who is ready for her new "furever" home and family.

Sandy is a gorgeous, sweet, highly intelligent, well mannered, people focused and very special girl. Sadly, she was surrendered to her foster mom when her owner became terminally ill and went into hospice care. Her foster mom explains:

" Sandy is a wonderful, sweet, affectionate girl. She adores us and loves all people, but small children, tend to make her nervous.

SANDY's foster mom explains:

"We have too many new people and children in particular, coming in and out of our house at all times of the day. It seems to put Sandy on high alert and she becomes somewhat territorial which makes me nervous and honestly, heartbroken for her. We feel at this time she would be a much happier dog in a calmer, adult only home without small children and where she would be the only baby."

Sandy is generally a calm, well mannered dog. She can be energetic when inspired and loves to play fetch, to hike, walk, run, swim or just hang around close to her people. She is reactive towards other dogs within her perceived space. Because of this, poor Sandy is going to need to be the ONLY DOG.

Sandy will need a calm, yet active dog savvy family and an ADULT ONLY home where she can be the baby. She would love to have a yard that is surrounded by a physical fence. She would be happiest as the only dog in the home.

She is completely housebroken, is spayed, microchipped, UTD on all vaccines and preventatives and will be a wonderful addition to the right family.

You must be prepared for your dog to be an inside member of your family.
In most cases, a PHYSICAL FENCE IS REQUIRED in order to be considered for a DRC rescue doodle.

DRC Adoption donations typically range from: $300 - $600 and vary according to the age, health, temperament and location of each dog. Every doodle is an individual and every doodle has his/her own specific needs and requirements. Adopters are selected based on compatibility, NOT on a "first come, first serve basis. At no time does DRC ever put the desires of applicants before or above the needs and requirements of rescue doodles in our program.
