winston Maltese Orange, CA

Winston is a very happy 12 year old maltese who weighs 10 lbs. The family he lives his entire life with is no longer able to have him in their new dwellings (divorce). Winston is and always has been a very smart and adventurous guy. At this point what he really needs is stability. He’s been in a high stress environment of late and that has made him anxious. A perfect fit is an owner that is around a lot and can spend the time with him. He currently spends time at his grandmothers (kids grandma) and they have a small dog that Winston really likes – he likes the other dogs company.
 
He can be a bit of a handful as he is adventurous and likes to explore. He is full of life and has quite a personality. And he is very smart (we joke he is an old soul). He is housetrained. That said, he is a dog that likes and needs his routine and when that can get disrupted he gets anxious. Again, I think in a stable environment he will really excel.
