Dixie is a gorgeous brindle 4 year old female American Pit Bull Terrier who weighs 56 pounds. She is very sweet and mellow lady who is looking for her forever home.

Dixie's foster mom had this to say about her:

'Dixie is by far the sweetest dog we have ever met. We love having her with us! She thrives on consistency and routine - changes to her routine can throw her off for a few days. On the other hand, she picks up routine and expectations quickly! She is very snuggly and will happily sit on your lap or right up by your side. She loves attention, pets, and playtime. She loves to play tug and fetch, but also loves to chew on toys we have gotten for her. She knows sit, lay down, stay/wait, stand, get taller, jump, bath time (in and out of the tub..but she doesn't like the actual bath!), shake, high five, and double high five.'

Her minimum adoption donation is $125 plus a $12 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

Dixie has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
