Meet Bird
This sweet little boy is Bird.
Bird was pulled from a municipal shelter in Puerto Rico where he and his sister were on death row. We rescued them both but his sister got adopted quickly because she is outgoing, while Bird is shy and needs someone who will help him come out of his shell.
Bird is being fostered in Brooklyn and LOVES his foster mom's other dog. He follows her around at the heels and completely comes alive in her company - a bubbly, playful, silly puppy (watch the video!!).
But Bird is still very timid with people. He lets his foster mom hold him and snuggles in bed at night, but will run & hide if she turns towards him too quickly. This baby had made amazing progress in just two weeks and it will be beautiful to watch him become the happy puppy he is inside.
A home with another loving, attentive dog is a requirement for Bird's new home. A quiet home without small kids is best, too. He will be an amazing pup soon; he just needs a patient, loving new mom or dad to help him.
