Buddy Cardigan Welsh Corgi & Shetland Sheepdog / Sheltie Mix Worcester, MA

Meet Buddy a handsome young boy that weighs 20 pounds. He's estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old. Buddy is neutered, up to date on immunizations, crate trained, house-trained and microchipped.

Rescue Software packages require rescues to list a breed, our best guess is a Shetland Sheepdog / Welsh Corgi / Papillon mix. Buddy was found in Western Mass and brought to a local shelter. Since leaving the shelter Buddy has adjusted well.

Buddy enjoys the company and activity of his foster parents. He enjoys walks, retrieving toys hopping up on the couch for a rest or just to chill out.

Buddy is a little shy and requires a little time and space when meeting new people. Since he is tentative with introductions, we are recommending a home without small children.

Buddy is house trained and crate trained. If he hears a lot of noice outside his home, he will bark to make sure someone knows he's inside. Buddy's name suggests his true potential. All he needs is his furever family. Is that you?

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
