Dumpling is everything her name would suggest. She is an absolute joy. Dumpling loves being with her humans and follows her foster mom around the house and is a total snuggle bug. She is leary of men and has barked at a few while on walks although she has quickly warmed up to every man she has interacted with when given the chance. She has not shown any aggression toward anyone. She is peacefully coexisting with the resident cat and does not get aggressive when he tries to steal her delicious dog food. Dumpling enjoys ‘talking’ to her humans and has unique barks for when she wants to go out, wants attention or simply sees something interesting outside, although she is by no means is a loud dog. Dumpling is crated while her foster human is at work and does well. She barks for a few minute but then quickly settles and is happy to nap. Depending on how long she is crated she has had accidents in her crate due to the small size of her bladder although a puppy mat in the bottom is enough to solve this. She has not had any accidents in the house.

At night she enjoys sharing the bed with her human, preferring to also share the covers and sometimes the pillow although she is an easy, quiet bed mate. She typically gets up between 6 and 6:30 and just needs a few minutes outside to go to the bathroom and then is content going back to sleep until her human is ready to wake up. During the day she is mellow and prefers to cuddle on the couch with her human and a blanket.
