Spanky’s Story: Spanky (or Spankadanka as my foster mommy calls him) was rescued from a shelter after being found wondering the streets. Anyway, all of that is in the past and I am staying with a very nice family that takes good care of me.
Health: Spanky is up to date on all vaccinations and neutered and while he's not saying where he has been getting meals, it's obvious he was not ashamed of indulging and as a result, he needs to shed a few pounds.
Temperament: Spanky is a good boy who has remembered his house manners. When Spanky first came to his foster home he had forgotten about his house manners but has been really good lately. Spanky is good with other dogs and has fit right in with his foster family’s two dogs. Spanky's family had a party at the house last weekend, and he was very friendly when he had an opportunity meet all the guests.
My Ideal Home: Spanky is am good on a leash and would love a family who will take him on walks. As mentioned earlier, he does need to lose a few pounds, so an active household that provides plenty of exercise and stimulation would be welcomed by him. Spanky is adjusting to being picked up without getting upset, he just needs a little time to trust again.
