Trooper Miniature Pinscher Mix Grapevine, TX

Trooper is an adorable 5 to 7 month old male mini pin mix. He was dumped in a park adjacent to a neighborhood and was taken care of by a nice good samaritan young man back in May. Those involved in his rescue went to great lengths to find his owner in case he was lost. We never received any responses or leads. The area is also very close to a major highway, and he could very well have been dumped on the service road. The young man who found and cared for Trooper moved, and can no longer care for him in his new apartment. Trooper has been vetted, neutered and micro-chipped. He is a very healthy 11 lbs. Trooper has a playful and fun personality, and gets along wonderfully with the small dogs in his new foster home. The young man who had him socialized Trooper very well. He loves riding in the car, has been to dog friendly restaurants, and loved playing with the medium sized female dog belonging to the young man. He is doing great with potty and crate training. Trooper will be small and am guessing he might be around 12 to 14 lbs full grown. He's young & must have a dog 20 lbs or less to play with.

About Canine Soulmates Rescue: Our adoption fee is $250, which includes having your dog fully vetted -- spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, heartworm testing and on monthly heartworm preventative. All dogs are microchipped, and CSR covers the cost of microchip registration for the first year. CSR adopts only to adopters in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. We require a home check for all of our adopters, and renters must have permission to add a dog to their lease agreement and have paid any necessary pet deposit. As a general rule, we do not adopt large breed dogs or puppies to apartment homes. Veterinary or personal references are checked.
