Coal Poodle Houston, TX

Coal is a gorgeous male STANDARD poodle one year old and about 50 pounds. He is athletic, graceful and extremely well bred from a pair of AKC Champions. Coal is smart, and is eager to learn. He completed puppy classes and has been taught basic commands. His former owners report that he is housebroken and loves to swim in their pool. They also report that he can be territorial. He will need a home without small pets or young children. In choosing an appropriate home for Coal we will be looking for patient and experienced owners.

We have a first come, first served policy. This means that the first qualified and approved adopter who visits, makes an adoption decision and completes the adoption application will be chosen to adopt the dog. We use a number system. The visitor possessing the lowest number will be first served. Numbers may be obtained on weekends as early as 7am in the lobby of Prestonwood Kennels. Once a visitor obtains a number it is not necessary to hang around so long as he/she is present with a number at our 11am gate opening. After 11am numbers are obtained - if necessary - under the check-in tent in the magic garden.

All the dogs are spayed/neutered, current on shots, and parasite / heartworm checked (and treated if positive). All dogs are trained to use a doggie door. Adoption Fees vary.
