Mellow Pit Bull Terrier Mt. Vernon, NY

Mellow is approx 8 year old male and his name says it all! A mellow fellow for sure. Just looking to be loved and to give love, affectionate, smart, easy going, great on leash, dog friendly, ok with cats....you can't ask for a better pet. Mellow came to our shelter because his owner was evicted...living in a car for several days, Mellow's owner made the difficult decision to bring him to the shelter where he would be cared for properly. Mellow is adjusting slowly but would prefer to be in a home chilling with a human, humans and other pets. He's a great dog and would make an awesome companion. Doesn't expect much, just love and a place to rest his head.
