Cashmere (RARE Orange Female!) Domestic Short Hair & Ocicat Mix Irvine, CA

Cashmere is about two years old and she is a petite-sized, RARE orange female. Orange cats are generally all male, but Cashmere is special!

Cashmere was found as a little orphaned kitten in a warehouse.
She was flea-infested and had dirt all over her little face. We cleaned her up and placed her in foster care. She is healthy now and was vaccinated, spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, etc.

Cashmere has a VERY playful and sociable personality. She can be shy when introduced to a new environment, so it will take her a day or two to adjust and feel comfortable. Cashmere loves string toys and also carries around toys in her mouth. She prefers playing with toys and other cats more than being sedentary and lounging around. She has been socialized around cats and dogs. She is well-behaved and super clean about using her litter box. She is never destructive, and she is pretty quiet.

An ideal home for Cashmere would be one where she can play and run around inside the house. She would do excellent with one or two other cats as well. In her foster home, she even bonded well with an older, male cat before he was adopted into his forever home -- Cashmere would lay and cuddle with him in a donut bed, and would even initiate play with him!
