Tissot Cairn Terrier & Norwich Terrier Mix San Diego, CA

Sweet Tissot is a true gem just waiting to be discovered! This scruffy little fella was rescued from a kill shelter in Carson, CA along with his brother Picot. Both boys came in very fearful, but have slowly shed their wall-flowering ways and started showing volunteers their true, naturally loving selves. Picot was recently adopted in spring 2018, and Tissot is hoping to follow suit very shortly! Tissot is a friendly, affectionate, smart, playful, gentle, tidy, quiet, loving, and engaging pup. He does not demand a lot of activity but is eager and ready to walk or play whenever you are. He walks well on a leash, can use a doggie door, is good at basic commands like sit, off, leave-it, and has great focus for learning new tricks. He gets along very well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. He loves his humans, adults and kids alike, and is quick to form a bond. Tissot has a ton of affection to give, and loves to be held like a baby. He enjoys being in your lap and getting scratched behind his ears, but he is also content to nap on a comfortable surface (he can be a little cat-like in the way he delicately sleeps on the tops of couches and chairs), or explore the house on his own. Tissot is already fully accustomed to home life; he is non-destructive and is fully housebroken. With a trim 10-pound figure, he can easily transition into virtually any-sized home. Tissot is estimated to be a little over 5 and a half years old and he is ready to settle down with a forever family to call his own. Tissot is a slam dunk pooch and a wonderful boy.
