Ryder: Adopted! Tabby & Domestic Short Hair Mix Kansas City, KS

7/26/2017: Ryder is a beautiful little light grey tabby. He is 3 months old. He’s just a little bit shy at first, but once he knows you he’s a super sweet little guy. He’d do best in a fairly quiet home with someone who doesn’t mind giving the little guy some time to settle in. He gets along well with other cats including his kennel mate, Piglet, who is also available for adoption as of this posting. He’d enjoy having a feline friend in his new home.

Poor little Ryder was found in a storm drain when he was about 6 weeks old. He was sick and had a broken leg. He’s kind of a miracle kitty. We thought he’d need an amputation based on the first x-rays, but he was too sick for surgery. Once he got healthy, x-rays then showed that the fracture had realigned itself and was lined up nicely and healing well! He’s recovered nicely and he’s not having any problems with that leg. Ryder is healthy now and he has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV and feline leukemia.
