Meet Freya
Freya is a pint sized brindle babe who is ready for her forever home.
She is now about 9 months old, a trim and athletic 35 lbs. She is super exuberant, very affectionate, always has a big smile on her face. She is smart, and quick to learn, and eager to please. She plays rambunctiously and joyfully with her foster brothers and sister, who range from an 8 lb scruffy terrier to a similarly sized pit bull. She knows how to crash and cuddle, too. She is crate trained, and amazing at staying quiet and calm, even when new people come over. She is house trained. Her achilles heel is her reactivity to seeing dogs when out on walks on leash. She is pretty loud and insistent, but not actually aggressive, more excited. The more confident she is in her handler, the less she shows this behavior. She has never been in a fight, or bitten a dog or a person.
She deserves a wonderful home, and with patience in introducing her to any other the dogs in the family, will be an amazingly joyful and loving companion.
