Meet ChiChi and Lena
Introducing Chichi and Lena!! Two sweet 5YO (tiny) chihuahua sisters that are sure to melt your heart ????.
They came to Rescued Treasures as a local owner surrender (her 4 young children made sharing attention with these little pups too difficult). Coming from a home, these affectionate girls have all thetemperment/training one would hope for a forever fur-family member - housebroken (will whine to go outside, or opt to use a potty pad), crate trained (although they don't need it - they just like to have a safe little house to go in and out when desired), polite, damage absolutely NOTHING (no chewing, scratching, etc) and they RARELY (if ever) bark (a trait very unlike tiny dogs lol).
These sweethearts MUST STAY TOGETHER, as they are litter mates and now a bonded pair, so anyone interested must want and accept them as a set.
Their absolute favorite things to do are to sit with/on you and be pet if available. Yup, that's about it! They are happy, simple, adorable, affectionate, wonderful little girls.
Recently, they've attempted to join in the fun with our chihuahua when we play fetch. They ran after it once before getting nervous/not knowing what to do and retreating happily back to a lap ????.
A perfect home for theee little girls would be one without children (they are under 5lb, and no amount of "be careful" would make them 100% safe from accidents), and with no other pets. (This isn't to say that they are unfriendly toward other dogs, they are. They get along wonderfully with our shepherd who is old and leaves them alone), but our young chihuahua's energy scares them and is often too much for us to feel they feel safe). They are untested with cats, so that will be a consideration if need be.
These two little girls are our 6th and 7th fosters, and I can say with 100% honesty, that the two of them together are less than HALF the trouble of any other dog we've had come through our home! Lol.
These precious girls will be available for adoption in about 3 weeks (mid-August)!!

If you are thinking about adopting, please remember it is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Dogs can live to be at least 14 years old...are you ready to take care of him/her that long?
