Meet Lizzy
Lizzy - Beagle - Female - 8 Months - www.twyla.org
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit www.twyla.org
Meet Lizzy: Lizzie is a young Beagle, approximately 8 months old. She was found as a stray, but is very friendly and settled into a new life in her foster home. She likes to play and chase with the foster family's dog. Being a puppy, she likes anything to chew on, especially sticks and pine cones, but toys will work too inside.
She walks well on a leash (with a harness).
Lizzy is looking for a home that has lots of human attention (work from home or stay at home human), as she loves company, she does cry when left alone, but will settle down and sleeps through the night (not in a crate but on a dog bed in a separate room). She is mostly housetrained - she will go to the door when she needs to go out.
Lizzie is a good fit with just about any family, she needs exercise and attention, maybe another dog and/or kids to play with, and a yard big enough to run around and play. As she grows, she will need continued directions and reminders of manners, Beagles are known to be very smart and a little stubborn....
***Please note that not every dog is at every adoption event, if you are looking to meet a specific dog please email us so we may contact the Foster parent.
