Meet Willow

Say hello to Willow! She is a 2-year-old black lab mix with a heart of gold. Willow loves to play with other dogs, enjoys toys, and is quick to pick up tricks. At 55 pounds, she is not too big, and not too small, but is just the right size. She would make an excellent jogging partner, but would also love to snooze with you on the couch.

Willow must have had a bad break-up, because she is currently leery of some adult males. But all other humans are a-okay in her book! Might you be the right match for this sweet girl? Fill out an application today, and come meet Willow to find out if it's a love connection.

Willow's foster mom had this to say about her:

"Willow is very sweet, reserved and a little timid. Once she warms up to you, she will be your shadow, and enjoys attention. Sometimes she will even get half on your lap for hugs, but she is quite okay on her own too. Willow enjoys following you around all day. She is very quiet and gets along great with the kids and dogs she has been introduced to. Willow is reserved, fearful, slow to warm up, quiet, and loyal. Men scare her and she can be aggressive until she is confident that the male poses no threat to her or her household. She walks well on a leash and loves time outside, running, rolling and frolicking in the grass! Willow would do best in a home with lots of exercise and a fenced in yard."

Willow had a fun sleepover with another foster family while hers was away, and this is what the temporary foster said:

'She is such a love bug and is always by my side where ever I go. . She would benifit from some training. She is very smart and loves to chew on bones and plays well on her own. She loves other dogs. We took her to the dog park a lot so she could run off steam and she played with the ones who initiated but the ones who didn't she left them alone.'

Her minimum adoption fee is $265 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
