Meet Rocco
Rocco is a very sweet 2 year old black lab mix. He was in the same home since he was a puppy but now finds himself looking for a new home. This change has made him a little scared and nervous when he first meets you, but once he gets to know you he quickly warms up. He loves people and is a pleaser. Rocco loves to run and play ball. He is very smart and learns quickly. He even has a few tricks that he can do. He has a lot of energy outside, but he is very calm inside. Rocco does not like when you make sudden movements around his food bowl, so because of this we are recommending no small children. He is also very good with other calm dogs and would be best suited for a family with another dog as it makes him feel safe and comfortable. He cannot live with cats. Rocco is completely house trained and does not have accidents. He loves his crate and goes in it willingly. He really is an amazing dog who will benefit from a consistent schedule and some training.
All dogs adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.
