Meet Pippin
Pippin is a dog friendly 13 year old 12 pound Yorkie in search of a retirement home. He is attentive and independent. Pippin enjoys the companionship of people. Pippin's favorite place is the highest point on the couch where he can rest his head on a shoulder or look out the window and watch the world go by. If you are searching for a loyal companion that will greet you at the door with enthusiasm, Pippin may be the one you have been searching for. Don't let this little guy's age fool you. Pippin is enjoys walks and playing ball.
Pippin' ideal home would be with a retiree that has plenty of time to spoil him. As a small dog, Pippin is uncomfortable around small children that move fast. Pippin is neutered, up to date on his immunizations, house trained and crate trained.

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
