Lily was an owner surrender to the shelter because the family was moving. Unfortunately, she was not well cared for by her prior family and she was scared and confused at the shelter. She does have some resource guarding issues with other dogs when it comes to food, but otherwise she gets along well with other dogs, although she seems to prefer smaller dogs and may be a little intimidated by bigger ones. Despite all she has been through Lily is as sweet as can be! She has a mild case of separation anxiety when her person leaves and she may whimper for a short time until she calms herself down. She is a gentle loving girl who will do well with some stability and love in her life. She's had a rough start but we're hopeful that she will find her perfect person and forever home soon.
