Meet Shaker
Shaker is not actually a mixed breed bunny....but a "new breed" to the Rabbit Breeders Association so her "breed" wasn't an option to select on PetFinder. Shaker is a purebred Argente Brun. (You can google: "Breed Standard, Argente Brun" and "Personality: Argente Brun" to read about them...)
I pulled his bunny from a local slaughter house, where breeders dump rabbits that are not show quality. Her coat should be chocolate color with a silver or frosted ticking all over the coat. This bunny is black with the "frosted" ticking all over. Therefore, not show-able and dumped to be slaughtered. What a shame.
The breed is described as "playful, sweet and docile" and this is exactly how this bunny appears.
$50 adoption fee includes Shaker (spayed, vetted), an indoor cage, litter box, bowls, and starter supply of hay and pellets.
