Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Maggie Mae is special needs. She is super social loves all people. She was deserted on a rural road and came to rescue thru the local a/c . She requires a strict vetting procedure which best suited with holistic vet. She was returned to us with health needs that have now been fixed . She has a grade 3 heart murmur which may never affect her .She has seen a cardio specialist. Maggie is on thyroid meds that she will need to take the rest of her life and requires yearly blood tests and monitoring for dosage. Meet Maggie Mae

Maggie Mae, a loving, well-mannered 3 year old Lab/Mastiff mix, is a “velcro” dog who will not share her owner and needs to be an only pet. However, Maggie Mae is not dog aggressive when she plays with other dogs.

Maggie Mae has special needs:

she has been diagnosed with low thyroid function which has been addressed and is easy to manage with medication and a blood test once a year to check thyroid levels; and
she has a grade 3 heart murmur which her cardiology specialist said will probably never bother her and does not need any management.
Despite her tour of vets offices, Maggie Mae is happy, friendly, outgoing and well-adjusted. Maggie Mae is definitely your heart dog.
