Richard & William Poodle Belleville, ON

Fish and Chips. Bacon and Eggs. Richard and William. Somethings are just best together.

Richard and William are 5 year old Miniature Poodles. They are brothers that were used for breeding. They need a family that can show them they won't be used any longer, but will be loved as only family can.

These two are smart and fun and lively. Their foster mom is amazed by how easy going they are. She says that they adapt to whatever is happening around them. When it's time for a walk, they're raring to go. When it's time to chill, they are the first to find a spot for a nap. They are both incredibly well mannered and, like any self respecting poodle, are very fast learners. They are fully house trained, crate trained (just say "crate" and off they head to their crates!) and they love everybody. They have been exposed to older children and, guess what, they love them too. Other dogs? No problems there either. They have shown little interest in cats so would likely be fine in a home with a dog savvy cat.

These boys are clearly making up for lost time in the love and affection department. They are super cuddlers and are ready to give as much love as they can get. At about 15 lbs each, there's plenty of room for everyone on the bed at their foster mom's house!

Richard and William extend their good manners to the outdoors. They walk beautifully on leash and are interested in greeting everyone they meet on their walks. They can get a little jumpy when they meet someone new (it might be someone who wants to cuddle!). They are great in the car and settle in quietly during car trips.

An adoption donation of $700 applies and a fenced yard is required. Both boys are neutered, up to date with vaccines, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and in good health. They come with one month of free pet insurance. Their birthday is March 25, 2012 and they weigh 15 lbs each.
