Meet Annie
Per her foster family, Annie is a sweet, joyful, and playful pup. She enthusiastically greets new people, is good with children, and will hop right onto your lap for a good snuggle. Though she has not interacted with other dogs in her foster home, she did well with them at the shelter we welcomed her from.
She enjoys romping around the yard. She plays with toys, independently and with humans. Occasionally, she will fetch, but most of the time, she will speed to the end of the yard, then back to you you, smiling and proud. She's fast.
Annie sleeps through the night, she is beginning to know her name and is responsive to us, but doesn't seem to know commands yet, but seems very trainable. Annie is typical puppy mouthy, and will find things to chew, but can be diverted with toys.
Annie is comfortable in her kennel. We're giving her variable and progressive access to the home while we are away. No visible separation anxiety so far.
She is well on her way to being housebroken. She goes #2 in the same spot in the yard.
Annie sometimes gets startled and timid when walking on streets with loud traffic. I anticipate that she will get used to city noise with time but she can still be tentative in new situations and on leash. This cutie is about 8 months old and is now spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300 and our application can be accessed here: http://www.onetail.org/adoption/apply/
