Meet Carter
Carter is living in a foster home. Please submit an adoption application and we'll then link you up with his foster family for an intro!
When this 7 month old first joined the rescue he was one sick kiddo and one point it was unclear if he was going to make it--but he showed pneumonia and the flu whose boss and is now a thriving youngster loving life in his foster home!
Per his foster momma, Carter is sooo sweet!!! He is a professional snuggler and would thrive in a home that likes to give him that 1:1 time. He gets along great with other dogs, kids and cats and is just a universally social guy who will be an excellent companion for some lucky home.
The one challenge Carter has is that he is not a fan of his crate and does have anxiety about being crated so, particularly since he was not supposed to stress himself while sick, his foster family has not been utilizing crate training in their home. But in a home where someone is home a fair amount and he can be a big part of family life, he'll do just great!
Carter enjoys walks and is easy on the leash but needs more training so he can learn to pick a side and not walk all over the place. He is a people oriented guy and would do awesome in a family that has time to adore him.
