Meet Lee

Lee is kitty social, but because he is FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)-positive he can only be housed with other kitties with FIV or will need to be an only-cat. We have seen no issues with his condition in terms of his health, but it does effect their immune system's ability to fight of infections. Due to this fact, he is recommended for an indoor-only home (so he can't infect other kitties, and so that he won't pick up viruses from other kitties in return). He's very sweet and lives with two other FIV kitties here at the center, often sharing his bed or rolling over and attempting to initiate play. To meet Lee, please ask staff directly when you arrive at the building as our FIV kitties are housed separately from other cats for adoption.
