Onyx Domestic Short Hair Boston, MA

Onyx is a gorgeous 10 year old girl. Her big, round eyes make her always look surprised or startled, but in reality she is a calm, laid back lady who likes to give and receive love. She was surrendered when her elderly owner went into the hospital and is hoping to get a home where she can go back to being pampered and adored. She adapts easily to new environments and has lived with other friendly cats. She would also probably be ok with a dog who knows how to act around cats.

Onyx was recently diagnosed with diabetes and needs 2 injections of insulin a day. These injections are super easy to give and she doesn't even flinch when she gets them. Diabetes in cats is a very manageable disease and cats can live long, happy lives with it.
