Popeye is beautiful boy who is around 2 and a half years old. He gets along well with his cat roommates at the shelter. He spends most of his time hanging out in the cat beds or cat condos. He is fairly shy and would do best in a quiet home with a patient person or family.


We hold an adoption day at the shelter every Saturday from 12:00-5:00.

You are welcome to email bradyfromlighthouse@gmail.com for more information on the cat you would like to adopt, whether or not the cat has any applications pending, and/or to set up a different day and time to meet our adoptable cats, if Saturday's adoption day does not work for you. You can find a printable version of our application on our website (www.lighthouseanimalshelter.org), if you would like to expedite the process, or you can wait to fill one out at the shelter when you visit. PLEASE CALL ALL OF YOUR REFERENCES (landlord, if applicable, vet(s) and personal references) before filling out an application.

Once we receive your application, we will check home ownership or landlord permission, personal references and vet references. We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis, but rather by the best match between cat and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.

Our adoption fee is $200 for kittens and $125 for cats over the age of six months.
