Meet Mira
MIRA IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
Meet Mira! She is 6 months old, leads the way and is very smart and confident. She is very friendly when meeting new humans and when it comes to car rides she jumps right in and is ready for an adventure. She walks well on leash with minimal pulling but does react to dogs barking from behind fences as if they startle her and she gives a shout back. Given her young age, and the fact that she hasn’t been socialized regularly, this is to be expected. When out and about Mira is very eager to smell around, but when directed stays on task walking. She is a snuggler and cannot wait to greet anyone as well as give them kisses, and lots of them! She is still very young and wants to please, but just doesn’t know how, therefore she will need a strong leader that will grow her into the well rounded lady she has potential in being. She knows sit and takes a treat pretty gently for a 6 month old puppy. Cute as a button with soft silky black fur, she has the most beautiful markings. When introduced to another six month old dog, she was ok with initial smelling, but became annoyed when excitement ensued along with vocalization, growling and barking.
Mira would benefit from obedience training and daycare as most puppies do, especially when it comes to understanding that she’s not always in charge with other dogs. Mira is at the perfect age to soak all of this in. She still thinks she’s a tiny pup, and will curl up and fall asleep right in your lap if given the chance. We recommend a home without small children as Mira is full of excitement and could easily knock over little people and also is a bit of a puppy nibbler. Mira has been around 3 cats, and although she does well and tolerates them, it sure is tempting to chase them a bit if they run off quickly.
If you have the time and experience to show her the way and provide her with regular exercise and love, she will pay you back tenfold! Please refer to www.boisebullybreedrescue.com and fill out an application.
For more information on foster or adoption please refer to: www.boisebullybreedrescue.com POLICY SECTION and fill out and submit the BBBR Foster or Pre-Adopt application.
