Meet Elie
This petite cutie pie couldn't be more loving, so how she ended up as a stray is anyone's guess. Elie is 3-4 years old and was found scrapping for food in a vast parking lot. Her left ear was already tipped, a sign that she'd been spayed and returned to the outdoors as a feral. Her eye was presumably removed at the time of spay, which means that someone did look after her during her surgical recovery. Elie's one eye doesn't make her special needs at all. What makes her special is how adorable and loving she is.
When Elie was found, she made it quite clear that she didn't want to live outdoors anymore. She is a non-threat to any cat or dog she meets; really, she's a little too fearless and trusting. As much as she loves her human caretakers, her need to be with another animal, cat or dog, is a strong one. We cannot consider placing her in a home as an only pet.
Elie has a lush, silky coat, and she just loves being held. She even hugs back by latching her paws around your neck and rubbing your chin. She's quite vocal with little meows that are high pitched but so sweet, as if she's saying "Pleeeaaaase," "Meeeeeee," or "Wheeeee!" Warning: the volume will intensify if you ignore her!
Our one-eyed wonder is microchipped, parasite-free, negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines. If interested in meeting Elie, please request an adoption application. An adoption fees apply so that we can keep helping other cats in need.
