Meet Bear & Max

** Bear & Max Will be adopted together. No exceptions. These boys are very bonded

UPDATE: Max and Bear were adopted over a year ago and unfortunately have been returned when the couple had a newborn and decided the boys were no longer a priority.

A newborn to compete with plus moving to a new location proved to be too much for Max and he started jumping the fence At the new house. Instead of hiring a trainer they were both dumped back at the kennel... filthy, overweight and their fur completely matted. We were shocked & These boys are devastated. They went from runs in the park, walks along the beach and hiking trails and put back in a cage where we are now finding ourselves back to ground zero with Max and working on an issue he never had before...jumping fences. Bear is his usual loving self but we are having to work to gain Max's trust again... we are back in the position of trying to find these boys a forever loving home And Hopefully this time around with someone who understands these boys need consistency and love for their entire life... and have a fence higher than 6 feet or live in a condo. It does not seem too much to ask for especially for these two extremely loving dogs. If this is you we would love to hear from you. Bottom line dogs are a commitment and just like our fellow humans sometimes they test us. We are looking for someone who can handle the test and still love theshe boys unconditionally and not dump them at the first sign of trouble

--------------

Hi. My name is Bear. I am 4years old and weigh 50lbs. I was found in the desert with my brother Max. We were in pretty bad condition with our matted fur & pretty hungry. I was adopted by a very nice couple who just did not have time for us after they had a baby. My poor brother cries himself to sleep at night. I'm a little confused too and don't understand why I was brought back to the kennel after thinking I was so loved. I never caused any problems and was good to my new baby brother even though he only had two legs. My real brother Maxs who also loved our little brother went about getting our parents attention the wrong way and instead of working with him ...mom decided to dump us both back at the kennel. We are still looking to stay together as a bonded pair. We are neutered microchip and have all of our shots as well as have been dewormed and are on flea treatment.

If you are looking for a great pair of dogs look no further than my brother and I. We promise to love you forever if you keep us together... but this time we want someone who will love us always no matter who else comes into your life. I figure if our heart is big enough to love new members of the family or whatever you bring into our life shouldn't the same be expected of you? Something to think about right? Well if you would like to meet me I am going to the groomers next week and boy I cannot wait. I have twigs in fur that never used to be matted and I could definitely benefit from a haircut… OK and a bath. :)

If you would like to meet us please fill out an application & my foster mom will contact you.
