Sophia Dachshund Mix League City, TX

Hi, I'm Sophia a sweet young doxie mix who loves to cuddle and play. I'm a little over 1 year old so I'm the perfect age to join a new family.  I was found at a shopping center and no one has been able to find my previous family.  I weigh about 10 pounds, perfect for laps and snuggles.  I'm good with other dogs.  My foster doesn't have any cats or kids, but she said I've been in situations with both kids and cats and there were no problems so I'm pretty sure I'll be fine with them.  My foster is keeping me indoors in a crate when she's gone and she says I'm doing fine with both crate and house training.   My perfect family will be active and be willing to work with me on refining my obedience and leash training so I can learn new things and we can go on long walks together. The family would also provide me lots of chew toys (my fav toy!) so I will have them available when I need something to chew.   Please come see me at Petco on Saturday.

Adopter for Sophia must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old.  A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.  

Adoption fee for Sophia is $175.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. The adoption fee starts at $175. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Please come visit with us on Saturday!
